Below, you'll find information on the different types of therapy I offer. Click on any of the links to learn more about each approach:

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
CBT is a structured, short-term therapy that helps individuals identify and change unhelpful thought patterns and behaviours, making it especially effective for issues like anxiety, depression, and stress.

  • Trauma-Focused CBT
A specialised form of CBT designed for individuals dealing with trauma, trauma-focused CBT helps process distressing memories and emotions while fostering healing and emotional recovery.
  • Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT)
CFT uses the evolutionary model to understand that our 'tricky brains' are wired for threat and focuses on reduces our sense of threat and restoring balance through compassion training to help individuals overcome self-criticism, shame, and emotional distress, fostering self-compassion and emotional resilience.

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
ACT focuses on increasing psychological flexibility by helping you live in line with your values, develop mindfulness skills, and distance from thoughts to enable you to decide how you want to act without getting caught up in a mental struggle.
  • Couples Therapy (Informed by Systemic Family Therapy)
This approach looks at relationship dynamics, explores how each partner's family context influences how the couple interact with one another and supports the couple to understand each other's perspective.

  • Single-Session Therapy (SST)
Single-Session Therapy (SST) provides a brief, focused intervention for a specific issue, aiming to offer support and clarity in just one 50-minute session. SST is also for couples.

Each therapy type provides tools and strategies to help you navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity, understanding, and resilience. Together, we can explore the best approach to support your mental health and well-being.
